The AW-CTD382 Rate of Rise Temperature Heat Detector is a conventional heat detection device used in fire alarm systems to monitor sudden temperature changes and high heat levels. It uses a thermal sensing component to detect either a rapid rise in temperature or a fixed temperature threshold, helping identify potential fire hazards quickly.

This detector triggers an alarm when the temperature reaches 57 °C (135 °F) or when the temperature rises rapidly at approximately 7.1 °C within 5 seconds, providing early detection of developing fires.

Designed for reliable operation, the AW-CTD382 is compatible with conventional fire alarm control panels and is ideal for areas where smoke detectors might cause false alarms, such as kitchens, parking areas, warehouses, and industrial spaces.
